Vermaak Equine is active at most major yearling sales and boasts a good record of buying top level racing prospects at relatively low prices, with Gr1 winner BRAVE MARY being a good example, herself a $3 000 “breeze up” purchase. Our success rate in SAF has lead to us becoming regulars on the “Top Buyer” lists as well as acting on behalf of the Hong Kong Jockey Club at the National Yearling Sales of 2021. We are also regular attendees at the major yearling auctions in Argentina and Australia. In 2019, we made our first purchases at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale in the UK and will become regulars at all the major auctions in the Northern Hemisphere from this year.
