Albion Square has a sub standard UAE season, there were very few races over his preferred 1000m trip. We were thus forced to stretch him over further which he did not enjoy, especially after a rushed preparation after arriving in the UK. He has been gelded now and we feel this will bring him right back to his earlier form as well as the nice break he has had since the Dubai carnival. He was on the boil as a 2yo in the UK for a long time and raced heavily and ideally would have been rested a bit longer but the Dubai carnival is very short and we had to get after him a bit, which did not help. He arrives in Australia off a very low 64 rating which is well below his ability and with a form return off this mark and with many racing options over his distance, we are banking on a good season in Australia with him!
